Pre Filter
Disposable initial effect pre-filter/special initial effect filter for animal husbandry/disposable pleated filter
Selection & Maintenance
- Selection Factors:
- Application scenarios and cleanliness requirements: determine the required filtration efficiency level.
- Processing air volume: Match the air volume required by the system.
- Allowable resistance: Consider the fan capacity and energy consumption of the system.
- Pollutant type: Is it particulate matter or gaseous pollutant?Size distribution?
- Installation space and size: Ensure that the filter can be installed correctly.
- Cost: Initial purchase cost and later replacement cost.
- Environmental conditions: temperature, humidity, corrosion, etc.
- Maintenance
- Regular inspection: Observe the ash accumulation of the filter and whether it is damaged.
- Monitor resistance: Use a differential pressure gauge to monitor changes in resistance and replace it when the final resistance is reached.
- Replace on time: replace according to the manufacturer's recommendations or actual resistance, otherwise it will affect air volume, increase energy consumption, reduce filtration effect and even secondary pollution.
- Correct installation: ensure that the seal is good to prevent air flow from bypassing.
- Safe disposal: For filters that deal with hazardous substances, they must be safely disposed of in accordance with regulations.
Common Issues & Considerations
- Balance of efficiency and resistance: The higher the efficiency, the greater the resistance, which needs to be considered comprehensively.
- Filter life: It's not that the more expensive the better. The key is to replace it on demand and on time.
- Installation seal: Lax sealing will cause filtration failure.
- Secondary pollution: Captured pollutants may be released after the filter is saturated.
- Ozone generation: Some electrostatic or ionic technologies may produce ozone by-products.
